What’s the worst type of guy?
Guys who have issues. Some people have a lot of issues, and you just want to cancel your subscription. You have your control-freak guy who checks your messages and doesn’t want you to go out of the house—that’s a standard, typical guy.

Or a personal assistant. Have you ever cheated on a guy?
I would never cheat on a guy—ever. I think women are different that way, but I understand that guys think differently. They’re not geared to being monogamous. They’re little boys. The more you tell them they can’t do something, the more they rebel against it. The more you take away his Stuff, the more he wants it. I have girlfriends who say, “How can I tell if he’s going to be faithful?” And I say, “Does he have a penis?” Well, there’s your answer.

What makes a man sexy?
Knowledge. I’m a firm believer that it’s not the way you look or what you have, but what you’ve got inside. That can make the least attractive person on the outside the sexiest motherfucker in the entire world.

What would be your perfect date?
On a beach with a guy, wearing nothing but a silky bathrobe.

As the token rich bitch on the enormously popular show The O.C., the ravishing Rachel Bilson gets everything—and every guy—she wants. Could art be imitating life?

STUFF: Are you as spoiled in real life as you are on the show?
RACHEL: I grew up sort of like a princess. I know that sounds awful, but I was the baby of the family. I had older brothers, so the little girl always gets everything she wants. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that if you want something bad enough, you can have it. I’ve never gone after something I didn’t get. Not yet.

Does that include guys?
I’ve always gotten the guys I’ve wanted. I’ve been lucky in that department.

Where are you unlucky?
I’m terrible at making the first move. I just can’t do it. I was dating this guy once, and by the time he finally made his move, I was so over it.

Are you dating anyone these days?
I have a boyfriend, but we just got in a fight, so I don’t know. I don’t want to give him the credit.

What did you fight about?
I was trying to sleep, and he wanted to…you know, and I was like, “No.” And he said, “If you’re gonna sleep, I’m gonna leave.”

As a former child star, do you think you would have had your current success if you had grown up to be horribly ugly?
I think that happens all the time with actors. They’re darling as kids, and then they just don’t grow up as well, and they just don’t get work.

You made a few guest appearances on Blossom. Color me jealous!
I was on three different times. I was on the pilot and played Joey’s girlfriend. I was on another episode, probably about the second season, and played Joey’s girlfriend. And I was on one of their last seasons and played Joey’s girlfriend. It was hysterical, because I was three different characters.

Did you wind up having a crush on Joey Lawrence? I mean, the guy would wear leather, flannel and denim, all in one outfit!
I did. In fact, the second time that I was on, he and I hit it off, and he was going to take me out. This was a really long time ago, and we weren’t driving, so his mom was gonna pick us up. I was all ready for it, and he stood me up.

Como ex-estrela infantil, você acha que teria tido o sucesso atual se você tivesse crescido a ser horrivelmente feio?
Penso que acontece o tempo todo com os atores. Eles são como filhos querido, e então eles simplesmente não crescer tão bem, e eles simplesmente não arranjar trabalho.

Você fez algumas aparições em hóspede Florzinha. Color me inveja!
Eu estive em três diferentes épocas. Eu estava no piloto e jogado Joey da namorada. Eu estava em um outro episódio, provavelmente, sobre a segunda temporada, e jogado Joey da namorada. E eu estava em uma de suas últimas temporadas e jogou Joey da namorada. Foi histérica, porque eu era três diferentes personagens.

Você encerrar com uma queda por Joey Lawrence? Quero dizer, o cara ia usar couro, flanela e denim, todas em uma roupa!
Eu fiz. Na verdade, a segunda vez que eu estava ligado, e ele me bateu com isso, e ele ia me levar para fora. Isso foi realmente um bom tempo atrás, e não fomos condução, por isso a sua mãe ia buscar-nos. Eu era tudo pronto para ele, e ele ficou-me.
